Free Fundraiser For NonProfits

There are a lot of nonprofts that do great things for many people. But with that they must host fundraisers which typically ask people to buy products or attend events so that the supporters can donate. I am a firm believer of being involved in community service and charities! However, I am not a big fan of buying unneeded products and wasting money

That is why I am so excited that I found Free Fundraiser For Nonprofits! I am so pumped to help nonprofits be able to accomplish their mission without worrying about where the funds are going to come from. You can read why I started working with Free Fundraisers For Nonprofits.

Today I want to remind you to make the effort to support a cause you believe in. If you want to support your nonprofit without buying unneeded products and wasting money make sure to take a look into Free Fundraiser For NonProfits | About Us video.

4 Tips to Help You Drink More Water

Drink more water rather than soda, kool-aid and other sugary drinks! Sounds easy but some people find it hard to remember to drink water.

Here are 4 tips to help you remember to drink more water:

Carry a water bottle with you. It serves as a great reminder and if nothing else you will drink the water to make your load lighter! We have at least 5 Polar insulated water bottles (see below) between the two of us. I love my water cold!

Set an alarm. You can wear a watch that beeps hourly or set a reminder on your phone or computer. When it goes of drink a certain predesignated amount.

Drink a glass at meal time. At each meal drink a certain amount of water before any other beverage choice. My grandmother use to do this with orange juice at breakfast. Had to drink it to get your vitamin c. Same concept. Do it with water.

Got to use the restroom? This should serve as a good reminder! Drink a swig or two of water after each time you use the restroom.

These 4 tips will help remind you to drink more water until it becomes a habit!

Find Out “Who is my neighbor?”- Bake Them Bread

Wondering to yourself, “Who is my neighbor?” Wonder no more. Bake them a loaf of bread, bring it over and introduce yourself!

Already know your neighbor? Cook them some bread and drop it by to let them know you were thinking about them!

Who knew community service could be so easy!? Why stop with one loaf? You have more than one neighbor!

Just in case you need a cooling rack I put the link below to the one we have. We love it! It is even stackable!

Q:What is the Best Healthy Snack?

Q: What is the best healthy snack?

A: Almonds

Q: Why are almonds the best healthy snack?

A: They have no cholesterol. They are a good source of fiber and protein. They contain vitamins. And they have no artificial ingredients (when you get the whole natural)!

Q: Yes, but aren’t they expensive?

A: A 2 pound bag of Blue Diamond Whole Natural Almonds will cost you $9.97 at Walmart. Divide that cost by the 32 servings that are in the bag and that comes out to 32 cents a snack!

Q: But will one serving really feel me up?

A: Seeing how almonds have so much protein for most people it does. Just for fun say you eat 2 servings so now your snack is 64 cents. 64 cents is still cheaper than the vending machine snack or something off a dollar menu!

There you have it! Almonds are the best healthy snack!

Tell us below if you eat almonds for a snack. If so what is your favorite brand or flavor?

Make your own beef Jerky

Beef Jerky

Beef jerky is a great snack to choose when making better food choices. It has a lot of protein and little fat. The bad thing about it is that jerky has a ton of salt in it. So what do we do about that? Make our own! The below video shows you how to do it in the oven. You can also make it with a dehydrator.

Running Benefits

There are many running benefits that you can find to participate in. There are some that include a mile and/or fun run for the kids. A lot of the 5k’s are to raise awareness or raise money to support a certain organization. Look up races in your area and then check out their website to see what the money goes towards. Some races raise money just from the payments people pay to race and some other races allow you to fund raise as well.

If you are in Oklahoma you can check out this calendar that has all kinds of races and direct links to race site. Get active and participate in a running benefit!
